Hey Jim P, did you ever figure this out?
Any idea whether HP Tuners is working on any Snow Machine support like BRP or Polaris?
You cant. You need to know what you are doing when tuning Diesels. You can not tune emmisions off without the required knowledge.
As PurpleRam said get then flowed.
I look at more tunes that run like $hit because some tuner has played with the injector charastics to compensate for a bad tune. When you get the right injectore...
Use your MAP minus your Baro because 120kpa at 100KPA Baro is different than 120KPA at 90KPA Baro.
Thats why Dodge uses Pressure Ratio, related to Baro.

Why doesn't he do a log sitting in his driveway from idle to 4000 rpm and use that as the baseline.
One with hood open and one with hood closed.

Ive got something that seems to work pretty close.
This was tested on a stock 2014 Jeep 6.4L with no other mods other than the HellCat Injectors to run E85 at the track. Currently running 91.

I was going to help you with some ideas on your tune but your log above has very little data in it that I could look at. Mostly blank channels, so not sure what is happening there. I'm using 5.0.4.

Try this.
Let me know.

Jim P.
if I have a 2011 LML and cant read it. Does that mean when I write it I will be only writing to the tables that HP Tuners has provided in their Stock Tune?
So not writing to other areas...
Got a 2011 that someone did the stuff that we cant talk about. If I write a tune over that (not write entire) am I going to screw that previous stuff up?
Thanks Bill.
So to summarize.
If I write tunes and tune revisions in SW Version 5.0.3 and are using a MPVI3 I can save the tune without buying a license.
I can send the tune to the customer...
Thanks Bill
If i write a tune in 5.0.3 can the customer write it with an older version like 4.8.7?
Rick
I know old thread.
But does this still apply to a MPVI3.
I have a MPVI1 and wanting to purchase a MPVI3 so I can do remote tunes without having to buy a licence at my end, just the customers.

Wow.
Anybody know?
You would think for that kind of dough it should make you breakfast.
Can I disable DOD/AFM/DFM or whatever GM is now calling it?
Thanks Jim P. I will be testing it tomorrow.
Rick
Just got an update in the Latest Beta 4.9 that is suppose to address this. Will be testing this week.
Thanks HP Tuners Tech Support.
Rick
Thanks Jim P. I sent you a PM, did you get it?
Thanks Rick
Trying to log a 2012 cummins CM2500 and the torque number reported are waaay high. Also things like fuel mass per stroke can't be logged. Anybody have a solution. Contacted support a month ago and...
I was wondering if there was a guide on what hardware to use with TunerPro to read an ECM and then get writing XDF's to be used in HP Tuners.
Anybody know of a "How To" to write XDF's in Tuner Pro for Ford Diesels?
