No I don't. I wanted to lean out idle to pass emissions but I did it with cats so now I have no need to mess with the idle mixture.
I just passed emissions so now I don't want to lean out my idle. I've put on 4000 miles over about a year on an Ed Wright tune, have never had functioning O2 sensors and my engine runs absolutely...
I think they're faulty because no matter what I try they always hover around 450. How can I lean idle only?
Where do I go in Editor to lean at idle only, say 800 to 1200 rpm??
Ed also says I don't have an open loop tune from them. He says my front, and only, O2 sensors must be toast and that I need to replace them. When they're not functioning I am running in open loop...
Do I need to have functioning O2 sensors to pass emissions or can I just tune for it?
So, does the engine run in open loop until warmed up and then go to closed loop when the O2 sensors kick-in?
They vary in price from $42 to $135. What's the difference?
My engine, with a cam and an Ed Wright tune, runs perfectly with apparently non-functioning sensors, so, is it important for anything that they function correctly?
My O2 sensors, pre-cat only (I have no post-cat sensors) both hover around 450 whether they're connected or not when engine is warming up or fully warmed up.
1. Am I correct in assuming they're...
I changed the little #, in the upper right corner with the up and down arrows, from 10 to 1 and now it plays back at about one frame per second instead of about 1000 frames per second.
Last night after I logged a 20 minute scan I saved it and played it back at normal speed so I could read it. This morning I can only get the 20 minute log to play back so fast, 1 or 2 seconds, that...
In the VCM read of my Ed Wright programed, LS1 PCM the AFR is 14.62857. Would if be safe to lean that out by, say 15% to 16.822, for about 2 minutes @1100rpm idle and 2 minutes @ 2200 rpm only? ...
I want to save the Ed Wright tune in my PCM so I can always go back to it. I then want to make some changes it it for a short time only. I started by scanning my PCM; it took about an hour (is this...
I'm a total newbie. My LS1 PCM has an Ed Wright tune in it. I want to save that tune and then modify it but always get back to the original tune when I want to. So, I scanned the PCM. It took...
I have a 2001 Camaro LS1 PCM controlling the modified (222/226, .570/.570 cam, LS6 intake manifold) LS1 engine in my BMW. Ed Wright did the mail-in programing for me. Using HPT I now want to set...
When I attempt to download a .bin file I get a window that tells me this file may damage my system or my computer. What to do?
I'm a real newbie and am waiting for my just ordered HPtuners software. I see all of these initials, i.e. VE, and don't know what they stand for. Is that info on this site?
What is the service tag # for the PCM on the '04, GTO? Is it 12200411, the same as the 2001 & 2002 Camaro LS1?
Do I have to buy HPTuners software before I can download binary files, like the 2006 LS7 bin. files, from this site?
My computer won't let me open this file because it cannot find the program that created it, or something like that. Help! I think this is the information I need to program my 2001 LS1 PCM to run a...
How would I go about programing my 11200411 PCM ('01 F-body, 5.7) to control an LS7 with a 24X reluctor using HPtuners software? Since my PCM is currently flashed for a T56 tranny can I leave it...
