I did this with virtualbox and windows2000. As bilemke said, I chose windows2000 because its the lightest windows version, and since I only wanted windows for hptuners, I didn't need any of the...
Nevermind.
Don't know how to delete a thread, so...
I don't trust that myfreelaptop stuff, call me paranoid .
I would buy another computer, but I'm still finishing up grad school, which means I'm broke haha. I may give parallels a shot, its...
I know the likely answer is no considering most PC users out there are using XP with Vista running a close second. I'm just tired of running 3 operating systems on my computer (Linux for...
Another professional stuent here, currently working on my PhD in computer science.
Can you load the predator tune onto the car then read it as an hpt file through HPT? Just a thought, don't know if that is possible.
Something tells me you guys are BOOOOORED :D
That is exactly theone I was looking at. My boss uses one, I've played around with it a few times and I love it. I'll probably end up getting it, then I'll be the guinea pig to run...
Running virtual pc or something like that? Is that even possible? I did a search and found one thread of someone asking about it, but I don't think anyone had tried it.
I was thinking of getting...

If my car has a SD tune and the MAF disconnected, its running open loop all the time, correct? And in open loop, it does not use the front...
I figured I'd bring this back to the top because I will be buying one soon, and I'm curious to hear how people like them.
Is the LM-1 sold?
are you resetting the fuel trims everytime you make a change?
For my TNT 100 wet, I am running the stock timing tables (no knock retard) and an A/F ratio of around 12.0:1. With a dry kit you may have to do some more fuel tweaking as opposed to a wet kit.

Nice numbers! What are your mods?
I didn't think you had taken offense, I was just nder the impression that your cam had not been tuned. But since it has, what I posted above will probably not work. Good luck though!
I only posted that in case you had just installed the cam and it had not been tuned. In your case, ignore the thread I posted above. I really have no idea why your car will not run in SD mode ???
So if you unplug the MAF the car will idle for 10-15 seconds then die? Im asumming you just put in that cam? If the car hasn;t been tuned for the cam, try doing this first:...
Weird, I never had that problem. Did you try zeroing out the maf table?
Here's what I did:
1. Adjust VE table to correct fuel trims (LTFT,STFT) in speed density (I got them all between 0 and -4)
2. Leave the maf connected, but force it to go to speed density (set maf...
i got pretty much the bare minimums and it works just fine ;D
