Although I've tested mine in varying conditions in open loop my AFR seems to stay pretty good between 93 and and flex blends and flex sensor
I used an unused set of wires. In my case the EGR wire. I connected the 12v and the second wire I swapped at the pcm connector to blue connector pin 56 for the signal. Then ran a ground.
Got a little E in the tank. A low percentage since I had fuel in there anyways. I'm understanding how this works.
The AFR was on point which I'm happy about.
HPT is missing the spark blend factor...
Alright so logging Eq ratio I changed the units to AFR. And it seems to be going correctly.
Thanks guys I really appreciate it. Always learn something new .
Kinda common sense I suppose but just put in some flex , unknown content, into my 5/8 full tank and everything seems to work. Obviously have to use LAMBDA now lol. The percent error seems in line...
You can use the same OS from an avalanche if you need an 80e segment
Im using the 02 Tahoe OS iirc
Finished up tuning on pump 93 getting ready to move to flex/e85. Have some basic questions. I understand the 0411 isn't amazing at it but it's what I got.
Let's say my Error on 93/E10 is roughly...
I agree. I'm working my way in there. I def have to do some plug reads.
I think we talked in another post I made about knock sensors and I planned on swapping to the ks7 sensor to test. Still seems...
Absolutely!! I had a feeling you'd say something similar to that. The knock detection coming from the pcm tends to be random and sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't. As I said i could go for...
I just ran 20 degrees up top and showed 1 - 1.6 degrees of knock but I could probably go for another hit and not show any.
Right now my WOT fueling is set to 11.48 but the 9% ethanol reading...
KInda just seeing how things are going, looking for advice and critiques.
Car is a gen 2 LT1 24x of course. Pro charger 14.5psi. TFS 180 ported heads, 223/235 114 cam, mostly forged but wasnt...
Segment swap the manual trans/diagnostics from the same OS and try again.
Sometimes just choosing manual from auto just doesn't work.
Yeah I'll get back on the dyno sooner or later I'm enjoying street tuning for now. I prob wont up the timing anymore until I get on the dyno
Thank you Ben. Yes I'm working in it slowly for now. As you said I feel like I'm pretty close to being set with timing until I run E85.
I'll keep updating as I go. Once a week is slow moving lol
I'm up to 18 degrees and I'm at 14.5-15 psi. A little more than expected.
I havent seen any real knock event yet. Tuning on 93 at the moment and e85 sooner or later.
Also using the KS7 or...
I installed the KS7 today. Going to get some seat time in soon
I'm assuming its "fuel pressure delay" it says "delay after key on, before pulse is delivered to allow pump to build pressure."
Thank you I'll check that out. Much appreciated
I don't have a check valve for my pumps so I typically prime once or twice and it starts right up.
GM does some crazy stuff. Iirc the truck settings will put your dwell in the low to mid 3ms range. It should be fine. I would personally swapped over all settings
I would use the dwell settings form whatever vehicle uses the d585 coils (usually the trucks).
If you look at the dwell + multipler on fbody pcms they are well above 5ms and then some. That's my...
Looks like he has SEP1000 which I'm assuming are the injectors. Other than SEP having a bad rep for bad injectors you should lower your min fule milligrams
Yeah according to GM parts direct and advance auto those are the correct part numbers for the 2002 Express 5.7.
The ks7 is like 30 bucks the ac delco is 60
The 5.0 l30 has a different part number than the 5.7 l31
