Agree 100%. I've found most LT4 Supercharged setups actually like a richer Flex Fuel mixture than you COULD safely run.
I run a little leaner on E60+ than I would on Pump gas but I usually set the PE tables the same and let the other alcohol tables lean out the car as Ethanol content ramps up. But my delta between...
Cant wait!!
My first test will be can a JMS low side with the ZR1(2022+ ZL1 low side in tank), support the stock high side & the port system but running the smallest LS3 style injectors. Maybe...
You won't make it to 1000 wheel HP on E85 with this high side setup. You will run out of injection window for sure.
So you're saying that you are at 1000 wheel HP with a stock LT4 high side at 2400 psi, 30% injectors and 32% fuel lobe on E85?
E85 wouldn't cause such an issue. If you're cammed then you very possibly had the preload incorrect on the fuel lobe and trashed the high side pump.
You can throw all of that Low Side fuel at the car sure, but what are you going to do about the high side? There is no high side pump that is out right now that can support 1300+ HP on E85. Port...
would ya hurry up already? :D
Where do I pre-order lol
As long as you're not seeing the VCM Scanner "bug" where some cars report low side pressure inconsistently, then you need to adjust the tune for the aftermarket/Aux low side to keep the low side...
If you have an Aftermarket or Auxiliary low side fuel pump, you should disable that code. It's just a nuisance code once you're running more than the stock low side.
It's likely the HPFP was measured incorrectly and was destroyed. The low side inconsistent readings were likely the tuning or they just noticed the "bug" where the low side fuel pressure gets...
HP calc in HPTuners scanner is just a mathematical output based on torque. Torque is just a mathematical output based on airmass. Increasing the MAF will show more torque. Reducing the MAF will show...
I did read them but there is no datalog and no definitive description of the issue. "Acting up on the upshift" isn't descriptive and there is no datalog showing what you're asking. "Car goes into...
This topic has been discussed A LOT so I'm going to assume you didn't really dive in and read the information that is already here.
What issues are you having that make you want to change the...
No there is no step by step how to because it isn't that simple. The torque algorithm hard part is already done by HPTuners via the Virtual Torque Editor.
There is a lot of torque model discussion already on this forum. What is your question that these past discussions hasn't answered?
That is how it is set from the factory. I've often wondered why but never really looked into it. It's likely either not used or the probably that the ECU transitions to idle tables by a certain...
these kinds of changes are probably emissions related
Depends on the setup and if NA or Boosted. And the below is a general statement and not to be taken as gospel once you deviate past simple bolt-ons.
In general NA stuff likes a richer mixture and...
Old thread but after seeing data logs on one of these in stock form, they actually do run a lot more timing but wayyyy up top like 6200+. Like 28-29 degrees.
If the engine is the same internally...
Is the FPCM from the 2017 LT1 Camaro installed into the Project Car?
When using voltage signals for widebands into HPTuners, they are very sensitive to "noise". The ground and power wires need to be connected to a clean source and need to be shielded. So the best way...
What controls the commanded and allowed Low Side Pressure now that the FPCM is deleted?
Global B is available to all now. But its till "buggy" on some models. There have been reports of people sending their ECU's out to be unlocked and then receiving them back, plugging them in, and...
As Greg said, you need to adjust things that control the throttle on cold starts back to stock and start over. Catwarmup has been removed by HPTuners as the EPA came after them over that and a few...
