The process was developed for the old version of HPT and I have no plans to update them as I've sold the car and cable. I believe someone else came up with their own gen 4 idle tuning process though.
Sure I can scan it with HPT as well as my wifi OBD2 dongle and OBD Fusion and see lots of things but can't make any changes. I still don't think or see any evidence that VFE or 1016 are doing port...
I don't know the engine code but I'm not aware of a port flashing method available for a 2012 V10 R8. VF Engineering can port flash gen 2 R8's and I believe gen 1 facelift V8 R8's but there is...
Something was wrong with the ground from the cam sensor back to the PCM so I had to ground it to the block which fixed the cam sensor codes and double start issue.
25# of boost and a 100 shot...
Yea, Jerry @ Eurocharged Houston is who's tuned it so far. The ECU needs to be removed and opened to use the Dimsport Trasdata to unlock OBD2 communication so Dimsport Genius can be used to make...
Who's leg do I have to hump to get my twin turbo R8 V10 supported? :) Currently I have to take it to the tuner (Eurocharged) and he has to physically remove and open the ECU's to tune them with some...
Sweet. Ordered it.
Wasn't there something about a resistor or something?
Didn't read the whole thread but is there anything I need to do special to use this on my E40 vette?
Yea the bidirectional one.
I see, the arrows are polling VS: broadcast channels. So in this case, the broadcast channel doesn't work. Which may also explain why my Aeroforce Interceptor doesn't log it either. Donno.
OK I got it. There are two alcohol channels. Forgive the ignorance but I don't know the difference. When I add the top (green) one it doesn't display and only has a right arrow in the channel...
Tried that, deleted vcm scanner.cfg and started with default config. Same thing. Weird.
Thanks. Tried removing all channels except flex advance and alcohol percent and only flex advance logged.
Tried Carson's channel config and same behavior. Fuel composition Hz logged but no...
Also if I open an old 3.0 log in 3.2 it displays properly.
No my channel list in 3.2 was initially created in 3.0 and was working then. Attached is the channel xml
Updated to latest build, 3.2.25 with same behavior.
3.2.20, E40, 2005 vette: Alcohol percent is not displaying in the scanner channel list. The channel is there but the value is blank. Thought it may be a problem with my ethanol sensor retrofit but...
The draw max on the speedometer in the gauge stops at ~36 MPH pretty much every time I scan.
Some good stuff here.

Well I'm not digging it. It's small, hands barely fit on the keyboard. The keys are not smooth, you have to hit them pretty hard. It wants to fall backward if its not on a hard level surface...
No, it's a hard limit in the E40.
Just edit the values in the X and Y axis' of the graph. To make it easier, go into the tune, right click on the table in the tune, column axis, edit, copy all the values and paste into the column...
OK, found the manual, it just pulls off.
