Not sure how well they work in boosted application like this, and if we should disable how to turn off properly?

Honestly I have never dealt with one in a boosted application, but with NOS they can be beneficial, especially in a multi stage set up. I would think in a turbo set up if you set it to go “short runner” as early as possible it could help with a lag issue. In “procharger” type setting I think you would want it disabled...... looking forward to reading some of the others thoughts.

I'd leave it Long runner until a couple hundred RPM before full boost.
During the spool, the extra torque is still needed unless you already have traction issues during that time.
I spent some time on the phone last night with a customer whose bought a few long blocks from me, he drag races a 2014 SRT392 Challenger(431CI) and road races a 2016 R/T(366CI) , both cars are turbo, both being under 80mm the 14 being twin and the 16 being single , what he said is this. the 16 , most times the SRV is set to change around 6000k rpms , most of his track time is at VIR , but when he goes to road Atlanta he tunes it to change around 5200, he also does PA Hil climbs , for those he leaves it long runner till 7k , the 2013 drag car, 1/8 mile tracks, he sets it to change at 5500, 1/4 mile tracks he sets it 4500.

I meant moreso if they have operating issues under boost more than anything. This thing doesnt need help spooling, its a twin 67mm setup that makes 800 before 400 rpm

FWIW, one of my kids customer builds split the 6.4SRT manifold before the SRV gave any fits.(20lbs Boost) they had the Low Enable set to 5500, would see a lean spike once in a while, I attributed it to DA but the SRV didn't flutter, 3 years ago we had a 2012 Ram with a single 80 come though the shop that was fine for a while then started this funky RPM dip lean bank 2 out, we talked the owner into swaping to a 6.1 Intake and it was fine, My kid being the curious guy he is, cut the 5.7 Intake open and found the SRV flaps had cracked.
