a friend of me own a 2017 Camaro 2SS automatic with LT1 and got it cammed, DOD delete, CAI and a cat-back exhaust.
Because we know, that some tuning shops in Germany sometimes throw bad tunings on the cars, I wanted to let it check.
Maybe there is something wrong, because the engines stop running sometimes.
The upgrades done to the car a "daily" work in the US, but in Germany it is very rarely. Not only the upgrades, but also US cars.
Perhabs someone is here, who knows about it and can check the tuning.
He has to take his car into neutral on red traffic lights, otherwise the engine stops running sometimes.
Because we never saw or driven a cammed car here in Germany, we don’t know if this is normal with just a 30hp+ cam.
Probably the tune is not good.
I do know a good tune would not be having the car stall at idle or while coming to a stop. That isnt really acceptable and is dangerous. I do not know much about tuning for a cam swap but it is very very common in the states and people with good tunes do not have that issue.
