Question 392 - stock Apache tune vs stock BGE tune

I have a 2011 pursuit that I swapped a 2020 BGE 392 into. Car still has a NAG1. With some help I managed to locate a stock 2012 SRT8 tune. I then compared this to a stock 2022 charger scat tune and noticed that they are different. Over all the 2022 tune appears to have less extreme ranges (I am complete newbie here). Is it worth copying the 2022 engine tune over to the 2012 SRT8 tune? I'm sure the stock 12 tune will run the car, however I'm interested in what's optimal and or knowing if the motor was changed enough to warrant copying over the newer tune. Thanks in advance.

I think the trucks came with the same 570/535 cam that the scat uses but iirc they actually use a larger injector so yeah it will matter.

The BGE block was out of a 2020 scat. I should have specified that.

The tune is specific for vehicle. Trucks get that tune, cars get theirs. BGE is only the block. The truck heads are referred to as BGE heads, but the cars got Apache heads. You should see minimal differences from a car pre BGE block vs BGE block

Any car 392 tune pre 2018 will be a non bge block, 2018+ have the BGE block (as well as 2500 trucks and hellcats)

There are some OS differences between pre 2018 and 2018+ but I believe the tune differences are more because of the year model than actual block construction

Okay that makes sense. Would you expect the newer 392 tune (within the same vehicle model) to be more or less aggressive than the older SRT8 tune?

So from an untrained eye it appears to me like the stock srt8 tune runs more aggressive timing overall

As for the difference's in Blocks, the 11-15 SRT block is not as stiff as the BGE block, they don't have the external ribbing and are limited to a .04ish over bore. the BGE block that started in the 2500/3500 (2014) trucks doesn't have the internal ribbing that connects the cylinder bores, but externally is identical to the Hellcat block, the Hellcat was the 1st to get that rib that ties the bores together internally , mid 15 Production year all BGE/Hellcat blocks are the same ,the difference is the color.
Hellcat block can go as large as .060 over depending on Core shift.....warning 2018-19 there were some block that made it in to "production" that have bad core shift ...but always have a block sonic checked before over boring...( I know that's not the Question)

We've gone as large as 4.165(.075 over bore) on a few 15Hellcat blocks.
