    Writing new tune to ECM

    Hello
    I need help I went to write a modified tune in to my LS Swap C10 & it said failed timed out. Now it has wiped the old tune out of the truck & it wont start.

    Will it write in slow speed?
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    I figured it out. I had a extension cable hooked in to the OB2 plug then my Dakota Digital gauge hooked into that. I put that in after the original dyno tune thinking that if I ever wanted to hook a computer to it I could have my gauges functional at the same time. I unplugged that & plugged directly int the OB2 and it wrote fine.

    glad to hear you were able to get it, bootloader timeout errors are ALWAYS associated with either a battery or wiring issue of some sort.
