P01 ecm not reading voltage from aem afr on egr pins

I am working with a P01 411 ecm and I am wanting to datalog an AEM 30-0300 WB. This engine (5.3 LM7), wiring harness and ecm all came from the same donor truck. 2001 sierra 1500. The egr was deleted when installed into my 80 Grand Prix. I am using pin 23 and 55 on the blue connector and have voltage between them when running. White wire from afr gage to pin 55. Brown wire to pin 23. I have also tried brown wire directly to chassis ground. I have gone into the engine diagnostics/DTC and turned on everything to do with EGR. Have added EGR sensor (voltage) to the channels. And that is where I show 0.00 volts. I have removed and added it a couple of times double checking settings. I have added editor and scanner files

Also make sure to zero out Spark > EGR, or else it'll do weird stuff on you as WB voltage changes.

That screenshot is taken from your file that you posted in this very thread, so it's definitely in the OS.

Well. Blindsquirrel. Thank you for the file. It worked I saw the voltage in the egr however the car wouldn’t idle. Lol. Obviously I have some sorting out to do. Some crazy shit but it can be fixed. Thanks again

Does it idle like it did before if you disconnect the WB from the EGR input?

Did you zero out Engine > Airflow > General > EGR Airflow: Airflow?

That's definitely the one he missed. Hopefully he's not out there baking that airflow into his tune file, lol.

I did zero it out. I returned to my earlier tune until I have time to sort this all out

I just realized I zeroed out a different file so it was not written to the ecm. That corrected and all is well!!
Thank you blindsquirrel and Matt. Now to figure out why I cannot see all my options in VCM editor

    CTRL+N, search 'egr'

There is a spark adder table that needs zeroing too.

Just a note for anyone else who might stumble on this issue.... they seemed to have removed the basic EGR toggle in version v5 of the VCM editor.

So that begs the question why and if they are going to put it back. Also what else was taken away
