Rev Limiter Issue on Gen 2 Ecoboost 3.5

    Hi All,

I've been trying to figure out the limiting factor for the rev limiter on my 3.5 Ecoboost gen 2 mated to a manual gearbox. I was previously hitting a popcorn limit at around 3k rpm, but after raising the LSPI table values, it's now hitting another limiter around 3700 rpm or so. According to the serial data logs it says its at the "engine speed limit" even though I've placed it at around 6000 rpm. Is there something simple I'm overlooking?

No expert here, but it looks like your in park with your foot to the floor. Somehow you need to tell the ecm that your in gear.

turn the automatic from enabled to disabled for one, then set infer neutral to enabled.
