Does changing the pcm output calibration pulses per mile only change the pulse output on the speedometer signal wire. Can I change it to get an aftermarket speedometer reading right? Does it effect anything with the trans shift points?

I figured out how to adjust the gauge itself. Just need to read directions a few more times
