Had a g8 here today, ecm read and flashed no issues. Tried to read the t43 on the 6l80e trans and keep getting a x36 exceed number of attempts. Also had invalid seed/key error message. Is it possible to tuner lock this controller? Should i reflash with sps2? Ill post the "stock" ecm file from the car. Only mods were headers, cai and exhaust.
Had a failed attempt at flashing with sps2. Got error e4492:cyber security access failure, e4423:unknown reprogramming error 5 at step 0. Now to replace tcm assembly. No idea why the ecm is unlocked.
