Windows 2K > XP Media Center

I just picked up a new laptop, the old one has Windows 2000, the new one has XP.

What will be the best way to transfer the actual HPT application over? I have the original install files, just use those?

And, I have 2.1.15 right now, will I need to install version 1-1.x, then install 2.x over that, in sequential order, or just install 2.1.16, and run with it?

And, will I have to install that extra bit that had to be installed with 2.1, or is that something that is already in the XP software?

Any other quirks that I may run into from moving it between machines?

    Thanks,
    John

you should be able to just install net 1.1, then hptuners v2.1.16, then your drivers and so on. Having the install disk is the easiest way to do this though. Also might wanna get net sp1 as well
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The net 1.1, that's the extra bit that we had to get for the 2.0 upgrade, right? And where would I find net sp1?

    Thanks man
