How can we setup the 8l90 in a C7 Z so it launches in 2nd gear only at the track? I typically can do it manually but if I push the shifter to fast it will go right into N and that kills it.

assuming you know how to set up the transmission to auto up shift in manual mode, you would just set up the tutd tables for a second gear start. then everytime you used manual mode you would have the second gear start, and if setup correctly you could leave it in manual mode , and it would auto upshift and the only thing you would have to do is down shift using the paddles.
