411 pcm swap guys I need some help/advice . I?ve got everything lined out on my swap it?s running and doing great except for 1 thing. It?s a 96 model 5.7/4l60 with 186,000 miles. The issue is when it downshifts, whether kicking into passing gear or slowing down to yield and taking back off, when it drops the gear it takes it a second to find it. Example: slow down to turn onto an interstate on ramp. Make the turn, press the gas, truck feels like neutral then bam it catches gear and shifts up fine.
Same thing when kicking into passing gear, it drops down, hesitates, then bam catches gear and takes off. It shifts up fine, shifts firm. And if I come to a complete stop nd take back off it shifts fine. It?s only having issues on rolling downshifts.

I did not run the wires from the range switch to the new pcm as the information I had said that was optional, but is that my issue or something else?

I?m using express van tune with a 4l60 segment swap. I have always been told not to mess with downshift table.
