    JTEC+ hidden parameters

    Hello,

Can anyone remove the hidden transmission parameters from a JTEC+?

no not without rewriting code and updating checksums and other stuff.

Honestly don’t know the point of deleting and rewritten code of what you don’t know what it is or what it’s for

I have built RE46 and I've gone through the shift tables with HP Tuners. It still doesn't shift the way I want it to. I think PCM is holding it back.

The 46RE probably has near same logic as the 48RE and has anti gear hunt control in it along with shift boundary windows for the shifts and adjustments to the shift tables need to be within the shift boundary windows, if the go outside of the shift boundary windows then those need to be adjusted to suit.

Sure it would theoretically be possible to rewrite the transmission code but it is not an easy thing to do and you would need to know where the checksums are and how they are calculated in order to correct them then there’s the thing of how do you get it all into the HP Tuners tune file. HP Tuners isn’t like EFILive where you can just straight up open up a binary file and use it.
