2017 Silverado 377/8L90 when starting from a stop 1st gear wont engage until 1400 rpm

2017 Silverado 377, tsp stg 2 cam, 8l90 circle D triple disk torque converter 3200 stall, unlocked TCM.

I need a little help here transmission not engaging 1st gear until around 1400 rpm. Upshifts and downshifts seem to be normal however
upshifts from 5th to 8th are a little early at part throttle, but the main concern is when starting off from a stop there is no forward movement until the rpms are brought up to around 1400 then she will begin to move. It doesn't slam into gear though its more like there just isn't enough RPM or torque down low to keep engaged.

Can anyone tell me what I may be overlooking or totally missing?
any help is very much appreciated, Thanks

You do realize that you have all of the cam angles for the torque model set to 0, but you have different models in each one right? Kinda cool, didn't know you could mess one up like that... Hopefully you haven't killed the trans and it's just in some sort of safety mode, because I can tell you if the 1200 column alone is too low it'll cause one to slip. Never seen this before, so kind of curious as to why you did that?

Even though I'm pretty certain that's the problem, I didn't look anywhere else after seeing that. Otherwise I would have said damaged stator in the converter, but pretty sure circle D fixed that problem a few years ago.

wow ok yep that will definitely do it... no i did not realize that, but i do remember changing that to all zeros to try and get it started and remain started in the very beginning after building but that was before i realized the reluctor wheel teeth were bent on the crankshaft, and i completely forgot i just hope i haven't permanently damaged anything.

thanks man.. ill keep you posted

I was even wondering if you might have 0ed those by mistake instead of the cam timing tables for a lockout kit, but again I haven't looked through it after seeing the torque model. Im even more curious now as to how it'll idle after it's fixed. Would you mind posting an after it's fixed log?

Well, she's definitely a lot happier, but still seems a bit pissed off. I removed the thermostat because it was sticking closed and temps were hitting 245/250 degrees, and now as expected the temps are way to low at 145 so next stop is the parts store and after i replace that I'm praying she gets right.
she's still slipping on take off but not as bad.. and i know it not reaching normal operating temps isn't helping matters, but here is the most recent tune and data log and will post another here shortly after i replace the t stat.

here is the data log of the correct cam settings in the torque model and also of when it began to run hot.
For whatever reason im not able to upload the data log of when i removed the T stat... im not sure why its not uploading i guess maybe the file is to large??

You need to dial your VE back in as it's out about 30% at idle right now. If you start setting the base temp to ambient or iat - just whichever is reading the cooler of the two - right before flashing then that'll put an end to it changing a bunch. After that see where your torque, timing and throttle are sitting. Most likely you're going to need to work your map torque model to close the throttle and pull timing up in conjunction to working the airmass model.

    MAP Torque Model Editing

Thanks ghuggins for all of your help.

I'm a bit confused on how to re-work the Map torque models correctly to get the throttle to close.. are there certain parameters/tables I should be using in the data log to make correct adjustments?...

I understand that the map torque model should sort of "mirror" the airmass torque model.. is there a certain way to do this ?

Your VE was still way off. You'll need to clean up the VE and MAF and probably adjust the airmass torque a touch more.
