    Removing rear O2's

    Hey all,
I have installed LT's. Rear O2's are no longer needed, yet I left them place in the mids, where Corsa welded in the bungs. I need those bungs (well, at least one) for a WideBand sensor coming next week.
I've turned off the rear sensors, as directed by a member of this group, and disabled every DTC associated with "Sensor 2".
Can I physically remove the sensors to free up the bung(s)? If so, do I need to leave them plugged in and just tie them up somewhere under the car? Or can I disconnect them completely?
    Car is a '14 Challenger w/GPEC2.

    TIA,
    Ron

You can remove them but if you don't put something in those holes, the exhaust will sound like garbage.
I am not the guy that tunes transmissions, our username is similar. If yo message me about I am not replying anymore.

Guess I should've stated that I will plug the unused bung with one of the plugs that Corsa included.

Don’t forget to set enable temp for rear o2 to highest, to stop regulate.

What menu is the function to turn off the rear sensors. I'm installing a 5.7L in a '73 Challenger and will not have CATS. I've been scouring this forum for hours and this is the first thread I came across that addresses this. I have just purchased the MVPI 3 and have the engine running on an engine stand, but have not warmed it up yet, since I want to disable this so I don't have to deal with a code. Any help appreciated.
