    Help please !

Hi All, just after some help regarding crackles and pops. I?ve just got a MPVI3 and want to play around with my Audi S3. I have purchased credits and loaded up through VCM editor, And all available tables look different to the ?LS Platform? tables i was trying to use as a guide. The tables are different to the regular Cutoff Defco or Spark retard tables i see in most people?s tutorials and when i changed any of the tables i thought would be similar, No crackles or pops where added after sending the tune. Any help would be awesome. Thanks !

Do you have your stock file? We can't do too much help without that

I have just read that my Audi S3 should be on Simos 18.1 but when i read my car, it came as Simos 12.1. How can i fix this? Thanks!

I guess beta Hptuners supports Simos 12 now?

Older models do come with Simos12, that's normal. You *could* upgrade to Simos 18 and run box code 8V0906259A, but you'll need to get the ECU adapted or immo off. Don't believe the immo off route will work with hptuners, depending on the immo off solution.

    Or just press with simos12.

Not to crush all of your hopes and dreams, but simos12 doesn't include the "impulse combustion" logic that simos18 does.

Maybe maps 29528, 28529, and 29530 - set the RPM up high like 7000. This would keep fueling on, and then the all of the minimum spark maps for the low load/overrun area?

Thanks for the feedback, i?ll have a look at those maps and also see if there?s a workaround for the Simos 18 final fails
