my f-150 will not and never has shifted past 5,950rpm
ive been working at this for a long time. utilizing MANY resources, searching and reading information for over a year. its come time that i must ask for help. can anybody suggest why my truck will not shift past 5,950rpm? i have calculated and adjusted OSS speeds, raised all limits, tried every variation of RPM antic shifts and torque based shift schedule. no success. please for the love of all things holy, help me! i am actually going insane at this point.
lots of conflicting stuff goin on in your tune. not trying to be rude in any way. a few examples are you have shift rpm @ 8000
fuel cut 7800. your temp based cutoff is 6500 vs. 8000 shift and 7800 cutoff. other things are out of line also.
ill re align them as today i lost all sanity and started going buck wild. maybe the issue is with temp cutoff and fuel cut? i have no idea at this point.
well i finally figured it out. there were some torque limits in the TCC tab. my truck is supercharged and on E85 so the TCC limits were a bit low. rescaling them to a more accurate representation to my setup was what i needed to achieve correct shifting. i hope this helps others if you're experiencing this as well. nobody on this forum has ever interacted with me to provide true insight to anything ive ever asked.
glad you got it figured out. its extremely hard to find help on this forum or anywhere for that matter. good you posted your findings. im sure someone down the road will find it useful.
