Cannot change OS from Speed Density - 2 bar to 1 Bar Enhanced (RTT)

I have an engine & PCM I purchased as a "turnkey" swap back in 2012 and have run for several years. Recently changed CAM and Heads and need to tune. When I read the PCM, I found it to be "Speed Density - 2 bar". My engine is NA, so I want to run either "1 Bar MAF - Enhanced (RTT)" or "Speed Density - Enhanced (RTT)". However, i am not able to change the OS. Tried using HP Tuners chat help, they told me submit support ticket. Submitted support ticket, they told me go to forum. Have searched online and HPT forum for days and cannot find a solution to my problem. Attached is the "as-found" file from my setup. My setup is a 2007 2500 Express Van 6.0 LQ4 PCM/TAC/APP/MAF with a TH400 trans, no VSS. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you have to apply the os to your original file. Do you still have your original file?

I was afraid someone was going to say that is the case. I was not provided any files when I purchased the turnkey setup back in 2011 and the shop has since gone out of business. What are my options to get an OEM file that I can tune from?

The file you posted is stock, it has the stock OS already on it.

It has not been upgraded at all to the 2 bar OS, it only shows that a 2 bar OS is available.

That computer does not support a 1 bar speed density or 1 bar MAF enhanced OS.

So just tune it as is, you'll be just fine.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

^ this particular operating system only offers 2 bar support. We do not offer RTT for it nor do we offer 1 bar custom operating systems for it.
You can open a support ticket here https://support.hptuners.com/

What are the best p01 and p59 OSes to run for swaps? I see you have a BIN to HPT tool to move to a better OS for LS swaps. Just wondering what the best OS to move to would be.

Is this a computer issue or an OS issue. My PCM has the Green and Blue connectors. Original vehicle was a 2007 2500 Express Van 6.0 LQ4/4L80E. Is there a different factory OS that will work with PCM/TAC/APP combo, that will allow me to use all the Enhanced OS features HP Tuners has to offer, or am I stuck tuning with current stock file and limited to the 2 bar option?

There can be several advantages. If I am working on a swap that requires a P01 computer, I'd start with the 2002 model OS...typically 12212156 OS.
A couple of the primary advantages are that the e-fans will work properly on the later OS. (They won't work properly on some of the 99-00 model OS's.)
It will also eliminate the secondary VE table that on the earlier OS.

OS 12587603 is for use with P59 1mb PCM's with Blue and Green connectors.

This particular OS offers support for regular gas OR E85. This OS is easy to find in trucks with 6.0l 4l80e DBW, 3/4 ton vans 4.8/6.0 4l80e DBC.

With this OS any combination of engine, trans, DBW, DBC, flex fuel are available with ONE operating system.

12587603 OS was updated by GM to 12606960 in ? ton truck applications, SPS has never had an update for the 2500/3500 Truck/Van.

Example Vin for flashing with SPS: 1GCEK19T94Z133425

This OS may also be found in some 2004 Corvette's, Trailblazer/Envoy 5.3l, 1500,2500,3500 Express Van.

Virtually unlimited combination for Engine, trans, fuel type and throttle type are possible with this OS.

    This file has been successfully flashed on P59 Blue/Green connector Pcm's for 2003, 2004 and 2005 and some 2006 PCM's .

To use Drive By Cable you need a PCM with a service number of...

2003: Serv. No. 12576106 with Hwd. No. 12570558

2004: Serv. No. 12586243 with Hwd. No. 12583659

2005-2006: Serv. No. 12589462 with Hwd. No. 12589161
Other service number PCM's may also work but you would need to open the PCM up and verify that the IAC driver chips are present on the circuit board.

There are no downsides in my opinion to tuning with the Stock OS that you have now. It will do everything you need it to do if staying with a NA engine.

The RTT stuff is kind if garbage anyway, it's best to tune it the regular way using data logs with the scanner.

You can try this. You may need to compare/change the DTC. If you flash after comparing the two, you have to select flash write entire.

Thanks for all the inputs. There is so much to learn, but not enough time. I decided to pay for a professional dyno tune and am very happy with the results. Really good shop that uses HPT and provides post tune e-mail support.
