Also, New to the HP Tuners world, looking forward to positive feedback

There are 2 values for remote start timers.

one is for initial run time.
and the second is for the extend time.

I have never personally tried to change these values. And for the life of me cant remember how i came about them
I can provide an xdf to you. or just change them and you can try it out on your side?
If there is enough demand i can provide it on my shop page

Remote start is controlled by the BCM. The ECM has backup timers that are used in the event the platform timer (BCM sourced) fails.

The backup timer for the first start is at 40260 in almost every OS while the second is at 402FC. Unsigned word, each bit is 0.05s.

    Thanks Dave!

    So yes,
If you want to do this, it is pretty involved.

Since HPT doesn't (iirc) allow reading and writing the BCM.
You would have to get some lower level, less user friendly tools to update the BCM.
    Is it possible yes.

I dont recommend it for the faint of heart.

Can you elaborate on some of these tools that would allow you to do custom changes in the BCM?? Youve peaked my curiosity.

Im hesitant to post this here.

However, IOTerminal can read and write (the majority of) GM ECM/BCM/TCM
With this, you can read out the os/calibration. make the low level changes you would like and reflash it.

This is not trivial however, you will be responsible for ensuring the module doesn't brick as well as ensuring the checksums in the binary file are recalculated.
