6L80 tuning for triple-disk converter, factory stall

Recently had a Circle D triple-disk converter with factory stall put into my Suburban when we pulled the motor for DOD hardware delete.

Tranny is a 1 year old 6L80 GM reman (warranty replacement), no issues but since the motor was coming out I swapped it for basically the price of the part. I have zero trust in the OEM converter?

I?m running the same revised tune that I ran with the factory converter:
    - 20% reduction is shift time
    - 20% increase in shift pressure
    - no slip
    - lockup in 5th and 6th only

Seems to be running great, but wanted to see if y?all recommend any additional tuning?

Making sure there is no slip is #1. Sometimes the triple disc will give a harsh lockup if the ramp rate is too high. Sounds like it is comfortable already so just double check slip especially under any extra load.

Funny you mention that?just this morning she mentioned an occasional harsh shift feeling, but I have not been able to replicate it. And I have no idea if it?s an upshifts or downshift?she?s not a car person at all LOL

A good, firm, positive lockup would be ideal. It shouldnt be as soft as factory.

My triple can feel harsh at times. its next on the things to tune once the new engine and boost are dialed in. Also i have the circle d stage 3 trans with the full delete, cooler, pan,ac, and atf. so max effort
