I wanted to start using the HP platform for tuning, but am unsure what all is required to start. Any help would be great. Thanks

Buy their MPVI, buy credits for the vehicle you want to tune on, and download the software from their site.

How do the credits work? So for an LS, what would be required?

Check out the HPT supported vehicles list. It tells how many credits for each vehicle.
