    Post office struck again

Well sent in my ecu 2019 silverado to have it upgraded and once again I think post office lost my shit. Now to purchase an ecu I had to do the replace option in the scanner but it says to do it before I remove ecu. So now I dont have old one, what if I have to purchase an upgraded one from hptuners, now what do I do? I have a feeling I need to purchase one, have GM flash it after I have truck towed there, send that one back to hptuners for upgrade and hope it doesn't get lost again?

I would not be shipping something like this by post office. UPS or FedEx so at least you can see continuous updates. Especially this time of year. And I would probably wait until January to ship if at all possible.

I always ship USPS Priority when the object fits into one of their flat-rate boxes, and in my experience they provide updates more frequently than UPS or FedEx. In fact, I have a package in transit with FedEx at this moment that last updated on Monday evening. So, that's 2-1/2 days without an update.

But, I do agree this is simply a bad time of the year to be shipping packages due to the overwhelming volume plus the porch pirates.

Well too late my truck is sitting with no ECU and on my tracking i have is its in kent washington and when ypu call them all yhey dayxis only information we have is what ypu see. I shipped it priority and insured for 700 that's why I am saying it said estimated delivery dec 4 and it shows still in Washington state where I mailed it from. From my experience when tracking acts like this, it's lost. If it does get lost I'm never using usps again and then they fight for a claim even when ypu have insurance. Mybquestion is not shipping its about installing a new ecm if I couldn't use the "replace ecm" option before removal

Your?s is global A.. just order an unlocked ecm with your vin on it from them. Now if it were global b you?d have to get one flashed before the unlock but they can program the global a for you.
