2009 Challenger 6.1 cam idle help needed

    Hey all,

I have a 2009 Challenger 6.1 with a fairly mild cam (223/235) that I'm wrestling with idle tuning. I need some assistance if possible

When the motor is cold, it's not too bad, but as it warms up, it seems to get worse. It will surge while trying to hold steady idle and then dies when it comes back down from a blip of the throttle. It's not too bad when cold, but it gets much worse as it comes to temp.

I've looked at a lot of the how-to articles here but can't seem to get anything that makes a difference in the positive direction. I've been resetting adaptives each time a change is made.

Below is a log and tune file if I can get some pointers.

    Thanks again

looks like it is stalling cuz it is hella lean

have you looked into why the O2 sensor for bank 2 is not reading?

the controller is in closed loop - it needs both of those sensors to function properly

you have bank 2 VE disable so you are not seeing what bank 2 is actually doing fueling wise. get that 02 sensor fixed and it may clear up a lot of your issues.

The exhaust on this only had 2 O2 bungs so I'm using one of those for my wideband, which is why it's faulting one of the sensors. I had run this in OL by setting the enabled coolant temp to 300* and it effectively does the same thing.

you can not do that with dodge, it needs both sensors, spend the 50.00 and add the 3rd bung for A/F, AEM even makes a clamp on version

Thanks N2speed, I will get one welded in.

Regarding the idle PID settings for spark and throttle, do these look remotely close to what you would expect to see?
