Post 2022 6.7l ecm swap for tuning

Can anyone point me in a direction on swapping ecms? i have a 2022 6.7 and know i need to ecm swap to tune i currently have a 2020 ecm that was pulled out of a stock truck but need it vin swapped to match the vin to my truck.

if anyone could help that would be amazing or point me in a direction to do it myself.

    P.S. dealer was no help....

why are you swapping? you can do a pcm swap with forscan. but you can also tune a 22 pcm with ezlynk. powerstrokecustoms.com does a lot of tuning for those.

the 22 pcm does not take power added so the only tunes available for stock 22 pcm is overseas stock files. have to swap to 20-21 pcm to do any custom tuning emissions on or off.

Please post your dyno videos of the 2023-24 PS showing increased HP.

Please post your dyno video of a 2022 with increased HP using the ECM that was factory installed in the vehicle.

What he said! I also would love to see it. Asked one company for that also who had been advertising added hp tuning for 23-24 models and they told me they was not releasing any documentation showing that it was increased hp over stock or how much these supposed gains actually are. Seems very fishy to me

I realize this is an older thread but I'm wondering if this was ever answered?

I can answer this for you:

    1. Purchase 2020-21 ECM (new or used)

    ON BENCH
    2. read EE on the 20-21 ECU
    3. flash in a file for the 2022 vehicle in the 20-21 ECU

    ON TRUCK
    4. read as-built
    5. swap the ecus, place 20-21 ECU in the 22 truck
    6. write as-built
    7. learn vehicle data:
leave the key on for 30 seconds, and shut
key off for 30 seconds. turn the key back on
    8. read BCM eeprom
    9. do PATs reset.

This is directly from the guys at AvtoKommander so please tell me how it can be done quicker.

Where are your added HP dyno results for the stock ECM 22-24 Powerstrokes? A few of us are still waiting for you to back up your claims from an earlier post.
