    6.0 psd tune review please

New to diesel tuning. I?ve done a lot of turbo bmws but this is my first crack at diesel. I?ve owned a few 6.0 so am familiar with the hardware side and most of how it works. Basically learning how it all works together safely. My current truck is an 07 studded and d, 155/30 injectors, kc stage 2, blue spring, fass lift pump, 4? straight exhaust, intake and turbo pipes. Put this together from research so far as a daily race/ street tune. I don?t tow at all and would swap tunes if I needed to. If anyone has any input, direction, criticism, it would be appreciated.

First thing i notice is your Fuel for max torque, it is very steep. That table should be smoothed out to make it a smooth transition.

Your WOT fueling is kind of low for a street tune, your only going to get to 150mg at 2600 rpm. By that time you should be full boost ready to rock and roll so i would bring in the fuel a little sooner.

Fuel limits for boost, My opinion i would scale the boost side of the map to give you more usable room on the map but i dont use this map anyways not a big deal here other than its very sharp at 8psi(60Kpa)

Fuel limit for ECT i would 100% recommend using this table since the 6.0 has many cooling issues. I would scale the ECT axis and at 230 degrees F i would start to SHARPLY pull fuel. I think i pull fuel down to 50mg. This table will save your engine if your coolant gets to hot.

Timing tables are good i have seen those before but your timing multipliers like the IAT need to be brought down alot especially in the colder temps. if your iat gets cold enough you could be cruising at 10+ degrees timing..

i notice your not spoofing ICP for the bigger injectors so im assuming your egts get pretty hot.. i would use the injector PW multiplier in the FICM to adjust for the bigger injectors. i like to take out 5% at a time until i see my idle fueling mg hit about 8-12mg some where in that range. more or less is ok but not a dramatic amount.

i never looked at the trans side so not going to comment there.

A tip- If you want automatic high idle when its colde use the multiplier for idle under the idle section below temperature based.

Took all of your notes and think I?m in the right direction. Took Pw down instead of messing with pw multi. Lmk what you think. If you get a chance it look at trans I was trying to tune out the adaptive. Not sure if I did it right.

    Try this.

EBP Tables: you had way to much down low in the rpm at high load. all that will do is close vanes and create alot of EGT's basically you created a dam and stopped air from exiting the engine and trapped it in the manifolds

As for torque managment in the transmission i have learned to leave it on and just tune with it. but i set your properties to what MY truck likes. you might need to adjust for yours. but mine has that nice snappy quick shift we all love lol

Boost fuel limits. i adjusted to more like mine. its a quick ramp up but you wont feel that light switch once you hit boost and your WOT

For your ficm tables. i would really suggest doing the PW multiplier because that will help the ecm understand how much fuel is ACTUALLY being delivered instead of you manipulating it to do that you want.

I appreciate your help. Definitely runs smoother. I will post some logs when I eat a chance.
