If you receive this message upon reading use the following steps to resolve.
1. Redownload & install the newest public software from the downloads page https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/ and retest reading, if you still get the error proceed to #2
2. Redownload & install the newest beta software from the downloads page https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/ and retest reading, if you still get the error proceed to #3
3. Make sure you are connected to the internet and that you have a STRONG internet connection and retest reading(these applications require internet for read), if you still get the error proceed to #4
4. Open a support ticket at https://support.hptuners.com/ and attach the VCM Suite infolog & Debug.dat file to the ticket
5. we will send you an update as soon as possible to fix this issue.
Fixing these issues are #1 when it comes to support so you can be assured that you have our full attention when we receive one of these emails.
This error usually means the vehicle is using new segments we have yet to come across, or a new definition that we have not yet seen or the vehicle is using old segments that need to be updated either of which can take a few days to diagnose and add.
