Hello, I have a mpvi i bought in 2013 for tuning my ls swapped mustang for tuning. I sold the car about 7 years ago and the tuner as sat in my office drawer format since then. Fast forward to this week. I am dong a 6.2 l92 swap into a chevelle and I break out the hp tuners to read the ecm and it won't connect. I used the old laptop and still no connection. If I use a obd2 scanner it reads the ecm no problem. I downloaded the latest software and drivers onto my newer laptop and plugged in the cord. Now it started to update the module in the cord and half way thru wiping the module to install the new firmware it froze and now the red light is on for error. I've tried erasing and installing the programs and drivers with no luck. Even if I plug it into the old laptop the error light stays on. What are my options?
