    MPH VS. RPM tune question

When you change your Shift piont to lets say 6400 rpm from 5600, do you have to also change your MPH higher than stock wich is 39mph. Or do you just change your MPH and the RPM will adjust acordingly???? Realy confused here!

The idea is at least one condition must be met.

I usually set my rpm shift to where my rev limiter is.

I increase my shift speeds so it shifts at the rpm I want. There's a formula somewhere that can get you close to the desired rpm based on gearing and such. But making small changes in your file then rescanning will get you there too.

Ok well I set my mph shift at 43mph and my redline at 6400. I still think my shift speed is a low compared to my RPM, I set it at 6400 but It feels like I should bump up my MPH to 45, but Im afraid I will blow my tranny, Its a stock tranny, Any thaughts on this
