Yes, the table(primary) display is where you need to log your parameters. If your not logging them in the table display you aren't logging them

Have you guys tried using the MPVI on the GXP yet? I briefly tried givign it a shot and it gave me some issues. I'm sure Im doing something wrong, i'll reread the FAQ's on it again.
Bill is there going to be another round O'beta before 2.19 is officially released?
Hey I bet the stock Ko4 turbo's off our cars would be Ideal twins for say a 3.8L....
I also cannot use the MPVI, I thought I did everything correct, but no go.
I also second another round O'Beta, unless the official release has it all.
What exact issue are you having with standalone datalogging guys?Originally Posted by b_faster

I just gave 'er a whirl a min ago and it won't highlight on the pc plugged in or otherwise.
The first time I gave it a try I loaded it for the current config. when I took it out on the road and pressed record it gave me a flashing red light a few times. Or would only light green when record was pressed but go off immediatly after.
post a scanner log(using your laptop to scan) with the config you tried to load to your MPVI unit. Its possible its a bug in the beta version your running.

I have been super busy @ work. I have tried the new beta, still no worky on the MPVI or anynew tables/PID/revlimiter. I will zip up my configs and file and send em to ya bill.
I was reading over on one of the soltice forums about how some of the handheld tuners have had issues with different cars having different releases of Op sytem form the factory, I wonder if that could have anything to do with the MPVI not working. The solution for the folks who bought these $1k handhelds is a new flash/opsytem.
Bill, do you guys simply buy a PCM and bench harness and go to town on it?
If so, when you guys upload our flash does it behave differently then the flash you have?
Anyluck with torque management/boost control yet?

Not as of yet, so much stuff to finish up, so little time.Anyluck with torque management/boost control yet?

beleive me friend I sympathize, As the germans say The Devil is in the Details. I build 10 or more custom cars a year and constantly have to explain to folks why their car doesn't "look" dramatically different from the month before, when I actually put more than 80 hours into it.
And as a second year EET student I truly have begun to understand your plight, nothing easy about reverse engineering something It took a team of engineers to do inthe first place.
Yeah, We support ~20-30 different pcm's each of which has their own code to figure out and manipulate. We added custom operating systems for 3 of those 30 and now the other 27 pcm owners want them as well lol and creating each one is months of work, not to mention adding parameters & such. Look at the alloytec pcm what works for the alloytec is great but even though its the same pcm in your vehicle you need many more parameters because the engine is completely different so now we need to go back into it to dig up the other needed parameters when we though we were nearly in the clear. Not a simple task to say the least. Unfortunatly in this business you can measure 5 times, cut once and need to glue on more pieces as you goOriginally Posted by Baldturbofreak.com
