    Current Gear in table display

I posted this in the general section before I remembered there was a transmission section.

Is Current Gear in the table display the commanded gear, or the gear that the transmission is in? I am trying to figure out for our customers that have trouble with their transmission shifting, so they can tell if it's in the tune or the transmission. If it is command gear, I can tell them it's not shifting because of the transmission. We don't have one here that is acting up for me to confirm it on.
    Thanks,
    Todd

From my experience it is when required gear is commanded, not what gear the transmission is in. One good way to figure this out is to log the Current Gear PID and the Engine Speed PID on the graph, against each other. You will see a lag between when the gear PID changes to the next gear and when the actual rpms drop.
