Why do I keep getting KR?

I keep getting KR and I don't know what's causing it.Would the IAT spark correction have anything to do with it?My IAT is in the red a lot and I saw that the IAT spark correction table pulls timing when it gets too hot.Please help.Thanks

IAT spark is there for just your situation. If the IAT spark table is stock, then you probably have too much main spark table spark. If it only knocks when IAT's are hot then it's IAT spark (or not enough fuel).

Either make the IAT spark more negative where you are getting KR or reduce the main spark table where you are getting KR.

I hate to be a pain in the ass but culd you tell me how to reduce the main spark table in that area?I've learned how to do the VE and MAF,but that's it.

Works the same as your VE tuning with a minor exception:

You copy any spark retard values you see on your histogram and then paste - special - subtract to the Main spark tables. Now you're good to go.

I was watching the #2 histogram(Main Spark-knock retard,timing retard) in the above scan.The thing is is that it doesn't consistently do it in the same place because when the cell hits the ones that were 1.later on they change to 0.Is there a way to determine whether it is false knock or not?

I looked at your scan
of the 3 times that it KR'd
2 were at 80deg IAT but they were low rpm 1400range
you had 30degrees of timing in that area you could back it down 1 or 2 points just in that area since it seems to be happening hot or cold when it KR'd in the hot range the timing was backed down to 27degrees but when the IAT was much cooler it only backed off timing to 30 degrees this was in the same rpm band and looked to be same load.

I think your initial timing needs to droped in the under 2000rpm range

In every KR you got there was 33degrees of timing right before the event
even when your IAT was a 108deg.

I just checked your IAT spark correction table it needs to be slightly more agressive I would start removing timing at 97 degree's and 50map at least -1

If you have removed more than 3 degrees and you still have KR, it's false KR unless you can *hear* KR.
