    Engine Coolant Temp Light

Is there a way to make the overheat light come on at a cooler temp? Say 25-50 degrees cooler than normal?

Yessir, I think so. It is in the Fuel Control, PE, Injectors...., Hot Select Temp at the bottom left. I lowered mine to 240*F

Thanks Chris, my buddy has aftermarket elec fans on his truck and instead of making them work correctly, he'd rather his overtemp light come on sooner.

You know, funny you mention that. The reason I am familiar with this issue, is I have the Flex a lite fans with the VSC.. and I hate it. It only quits when it's hot outside and I need the fans working. That's why I looked into it. You may mention to your friend that Nelson Performance has a relay kit to attach to your efans that will plug into the VCM and work correctly... no more VSC junk. Hope this helps. Oh, www.nelsonperformance.com They are in San Antonio TX.

Interesting, I'll let him know. The VSC on my fans seems to work fine. I haven't had any problems yet. But being able to control them via the VCM would be a much better option. Thanks for the info.
