    histogram display

out of a sudden my histogram shows only one line for certain parameters.
first I thought the scanner didn't log right - loaded an older log from which I know there were all the numbers: same thing....
so, got something misadjusted here or what?????

Post a scan, no sense in making us guess in what the issue is.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    here we go:
I know for sure that the "pecuris" one did show the numbers through the whole range.

They both work fine for me, I could only assume you have a custom PID setup incorrectly.

Easiest way to fix it would be to delete your VCM Scanner.cfg file in your hptuners folder but this will delete any custom PID's you've setup, both correctly & incorrectly.

    nope.
deleted it, re-entered my # - same thing....
then I loaded the 'default imperial.cfg' - same thing....
didn't scan/log for the last two month, this was the first scan this year, so I really didn't change anything.

Ok, I'm thouroughly confused, you said you deleted it & you had to reenter some number?

Sounds like you're deleting your VCM Suite.cfg file and not the file I asked you to delete.

    got you....
but no matter which cfg file I load - same thing...
so I guess the failure is not in the cfg files... but it can't be in the scans neither (you're able to see all data).

I didn't ask you to load anything, all I asked is that you delete your VCM Scanner.cfg file

Well lets try this, please post the file named VCM Scanner.cfg file as shown in that screenshot I posted as well as the scanner config file you are using currently.

secondly, go into your Start-Control panel-regional and language options

What do you have the Standards/Formats language set to?

I thought this is what happened when you didn't log dynamic cylinder air?

There can be a few reasons for this, but seeing that he IS logging dynamic cyl air, that rules that out in this case.

Just checked your configs & they check out fine, probably your regional settings screwing something up.

    you know what it was?
not the regional settings (they were english & usa), it was the decimal symbol.
a coma was selected & I changed it back to a period.
odd thing, I wanted to see if I can change back to coma, but the only choice I have now is the period.....
    well, finally all's good again!
but to be honest, I didn't even think about the regional settings......
    BIG thanx!

yeah, we see this alot with overseas customers using their native regional settings which changes the decimal to a comma which was what I was going for.
