    98 speedo cal problems help! ASAP

    I have changed the gears from 3.42 to 4.10 and can't seem to get the speedo cal right, what am I missing? I'm asking for this in detail please is it a problem with 98s only?

    VSS Pulses/mile =
    VSS Pulses/rev=
    trans rev/mile=

    Well, here is the way I would do it.

    In Edit>Speedometer>Speedometer you see a option for transaxle or FWD. Under that you see

    Current New

    Tire
    [7.29] Gear [ ]


    take the 7.29, multiply it by your current gear ratio (3.42) and you get 24.9318

    Divide that by your new gear ratio (4.10) and you get 6.08. Type that into the NEW Block and click calculate. That should be all you need to do.
