    3.8Lt Ecotec ecm's

Friend of mine has a holden VS commodore 97-98 wagon 5sp manual unsupported bt HPT, anyway is it possible to interchange with little impact to an ecm from a VY commodore manual 02-04 to make it flashable if is supported!

the only aussie V6's we support are the alloytec in VZ and later. We currently have no plans for support of any other aussie V6's (i don't know why Holden used a different PCM than the rest of GM for these engines!!). The only option i know of for your early V6 is to find somone with Kalmaker software, but again i don't think they support the later VX/VY Ecotec's either.

Something i was thinking about, would a computer from a US vehicle work in anything from VR-VY to enable flash tuning?

You would probably need a new harness to match up to it and there are no US applications for a RWD L67 supercharged vehicle though with a 5spd it wouldn't be as big of a deal since you'd not need the 4L60E controls. If its an L36 NA application we do have the L36 96-02 F-body stuff but only the 96-98 are cable throttle and I think the 96 and 97 have unique and somewhat screwy ECM's.

The 96 F body PCM in not supported. The 97 will replace the 96 and is supported. The 98 is the best choice, but the pin outs are different from the 96 and 97's. The 98's need to be used with the operating system that came in them, you can burn the PCM out if you try to flash a BIN that is not stock to that PCM.
