Thinking about getting an hptuner but idk.

Ok i have a 99 pontiac grand prix gtp and the following mods are Wizaird cai, zzp1.0pcm ,slp powerflo catback,
zzp 3" dp, 3.4mps, al 104's, 180*, zzp stage 1 hv tb, flipped motor mounts, spring blockers.

Anyways my mods that i am getting next and will be it for this summer are slp headers and 1.9 rockers with 90# springs

Soo the thing is I really want to get a hp tuner but idk what to do with it and how to use it, all of it seems to confuse me, like what should the first thing i should do, When i get those mods put on i would like to lower my pulley to 3.3 or 3.25 soo idk, my other option is to just send my pcm to will at overkillmotorsports

hey man it's parker from gpf. go ahead and get the tuner. theres so much you can improve on...even on a stock car. If your going to be modding in the future this is the way to go. I havent looked back yet. And wont be.

but be careful, my ZZP pcm is untuneable by Hptuners, and needs to be reflashed to stock by the dealership before I can license and tune.... not a complaint, just a warning

I belive zzp locks there pcm's to where they can't be accessed...not even to reflash them. I could be wrong though

That may have been true in the old days. But they state right on the website that they do not lock the PCM and will help you change parameters if you have a tuner and want to change anything. I have a ZZP PCM and it is not locked.
