    Decel under load, verrrry lean....

See, I've run into a problem, the readings on the wideband shoot up when I let off the gas and engine brake at high revs in a gear. I could see this happening because my main source of fuel is PE, but PE isn't in effect when I'm off the throttle, but the engine is still loaded up. What are you guys doing to battle this?????

What does that acronym mean guys? And is this ok??? I am in constant fear of high numbers on the wideband. I can understand that when you are on the clutch/out of gear and the wideband shoots up on decel, because there is no load on the engine. But is it ok to get lean like that with the load still on it? Sorry for bein a PITA, I just wanna be safe, tis all. thanks.

I dare you to turn that decel fuel cut off. Let us know how loud the boom that removed your muffler was :

Without decel fuel cut you get decel backfiring.
There is no replacement for displacement?&&sure there is, its called a Blower!

Haha, nah, thats a dare I'll save for another day. As long as its cool that it goes lean like that. I just didn't want it to harm my engine you know? I figured decel without any load on the engine and a lean condition was normal, i felt like with the engine braking it would be a diff case, like you'd want the A/F to stay relatively close to stoich....well, thanks guys, once again, I appreciate the help!!
