Looking to see if anyone knows what the scan PID is for ambient air temp (not IAT) on a 2004 Grand Prix. I've tried 0146, but that doesn't work on his (although it does work on an 05)
Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the GP specifically but on mine it's PID.70.

Not sure if this is where you got it from but UVScanning pid list has the one I think your using, its listed as group 1 and pid 46 and pid cat of 1

Ya', that's the one I've tried,...
It works in an '05 GP PCM but not in my '04
I believe it works in a GenII GP as well...
I don't know why it would skip just this 1 year tho?

Im curious as to why your IAT and ambient temps would be different? Are you running a supercharger?
Yes, but even a non-boostred car will see IAT temps that are not near ambient. A real good CAI will allow you to see ambient cruising, but even the best CAI will heat soak.

That's the answer...
When the outside temp is 80, I see 115 with my FWI
Best I think my cruise would be at that temp is 95...
Regardless, I'd love to be able to log this data for future viewing

You are still looking for a Pid# for Ambient Air temp? What would be the Vin # 8th digit?
OBDScannerman
2G2WR524141114875 is my VIN, it would be great to get this!
Thanks for trying!
