When we listen to the VPW side, we get the specific commands that the programming device uses to put the PCM in programming mode. The commands I listed above are the correct for the GM class 2 PCM... In what order or exactly what they mean, I have no idea yet..
Once we find how the tech 2 or other device communicates with the PCM we can write the software for the BB device in order to use it for flash programming...
LS1Edit downloads the flash file from the PCM, but when making changes it only change the memory location for the specific change.. it doesn't not do a complete rewrite... The commands I found above specify the different modes for complete upload and download as well as block mode or something like that...
