i dont see it being an issue but please contact our sales manager directly at sales at hptuners.com to put your mind at ease.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The only thing we need to receive by the end of tomorrow is your payment.

As long as we get your interface this week or next week, it won't be an issue.

There is no exact deadline for receiving the interface. Just mail it out this week please.

If I buy a used serial interface from someone else, do I still qualify for an upgrade?

I put all my tuning stuff away last summer, jsu ypgraded my PC and went to use it and realized that I needed a USB. Reading this it sounds like I am screwed - need to buy the $649 upgrade?

There are usb to serial converters that you can use. I am not sure which models work well with HPTuners though. They're inexpensive by comparison

Thanks. Got a reply from Jay also, so thanks for the prompt response all. I got the converter cable and after squaring away the difference between USB drivers and serial to USB cable drivers I got it working.

Uh Oh... I'm just a casual tuner of my own vehicles and have not checked this board in over a year. I also don't recall getting an email that my serial HPTuner setup is going to be unsupported, offering an upgrade path.

Is there still a solution to getting back on the support bandwagon without having to buy the full product all over again?

    Thanks,
    Russ

Two years past the announcement, 1 year past the date, I'm sorry there is not.
