Tips on hacking a 95 3.4L Camaro PCM

Hey, I saw that there was a BIN file for the 95 3.4L 5 speed F-Body listed and was wondering if anyone had hacked this PCM or would have some tips on doing so? I'd like to be able to tune my car. Any ideas RoboGeek?

One thing you might want to try is comparing 3.4 code to already disassembled and documented LT1 code.

Which editing software would you suggest I use to decode the bin file?

Hex Workshop is very nice.

Be warned though that it looks like a complete foreign language in hex workshop or any hex editor for that matter unless you have editing software written specifically for that bin, which isn't available to no GM expert tuners like ourselves.

I have a 95 Camaro L32/A4/3.23 PCM, The tag on it has Service No 16184737, BNFM and there is another number, 16212614.

Are there multiple numbers for the same driveline combo in a given year?

I'm quite willing to post my binary. How do I extract it?

To obtain your binary you have to remove the flash chip and use a reader such as an EMP-20 with the correct family module and socket. That gets rather $$$.
