    98 sunfire flash file

I have a 98 sunfire pcm that I took apart so I could read the flash chip (28f400) I removed the chip and did a dump but file looks like garbage.
Can someone confirm that this is a good dump

If so how do I go about in decoding it? First thing I'm looking for is the speed limiter

    thanks

looks like the dump was good. I finally found the vin#

it was like this in the dump +1 1GFJ210T7V622378

so I thought it was messed up but if I do 2 bits at a time I get this 1G1JF12T5X7267208 boom the VIN #

I still need some help with the speed limiter and/or finding the timing table

Your dump looks ok... but your byte order is incorrect. Every two bytes are flip flopped.

There should be a setting in your reader program to change the byte order.

I did the byte swap and uploaded the new file.

Any help would be appreciated in where to go from here in decoding the info. I have some assembler background from what I can remember from school(68hc11 board).

    thanks

Link is giving me a 404. Have a 97 cavalier, and was wanting to look at the code. (Haven't been able to pull my own yet.
