is it worth it? my car runs out of steam before 7k and only lost .25 off my 60-100 runs when shifting to 4th with my hhr(stock redline bounces 3rd at 100)

Yeah, there's not enough steam that high to make it worth it.

id try running a 60-100 in 3rd and nls into 4th like normal, I shifted around 92mph in my hhr when I did shift to 4th and only lost .25 seconds and I have gearing that will go past 100 just over the stock rev limiter, I am going to test more but I think that the 60-100 might be faster in the hhr by shifting to 4th before 90 mph.

I would think so as well, but my car won't allow me to NLS into 4th

I personally wouldn't mess with it by myself but there are a ton of tsbs on shift linkages out of adjustment. my friend with a staged cobalt lost 2nd 4th and r, took it in and they worked on the linkage, its broke twice since and now he wants a trans but the dealer he took it to is being a bitch.

So, byt posted up that i hit 5.3 last night on my 60-100 but I thought it was a fluke, with my car having some extra weight, I hit 5.772 today. BYT FTMFW. Awesome work BYT I sure as hell can't compain. Oh yea mothafuckas mutiple under 6 runs BONE stock with tune, im over 26k and I have not done anything to the car other than put gas in and my oil needs to be changed pretty badly, about 15k on my oil.

oh yeah, it was slightly up hill for the 5.7 but slightly downhill for the 5.3, I really can believe that I picked up so much with just adjustments in the maf tuning. im afraid to change my crusty air filter out.

damn not bad at all, I got my LTFT dial in pretty much but the STFT at still crazy as hell.

But sounds like you really need to change your oil just what till you see your filter.. lol

Lol, I'm sure I've seen worse, I used to be an assistant manager at Jiffy Lube, lots of ecotec out there lmao. My LTFTs move around a little bit depending on temp and whatnot, my stfts are almost 0 under WOT. You still running stock airbox/filter? Byt might wanna hook you up with my MAF stuff since I'm still running all stock. I need a catless DP, wonder if my cats gone from me not having COT enabled lol.

5.26 sec 60-100 today. Still some KR WOT at 5k-5500 since I bumped up the timing, up to 16* at 6300 rpm now, no KR. Can't get my 300%+ load back since going with the lightweight flywheel/new clutch. Steepened up the DAL table curve from 70-80%, we'll see tomorrow. More of a light switch now instead of rolling in from 60% up. Miss that 3rd gear wheelspin since it got warmer out.

lol good job man, wish I had a clutch lol. I don't think that ill be going very much faster than I am right now until I get some more money lmao. I have the stage sensors and whatnot but I think I need to go catless before I try to get too crazy.

im going to have to go out and try this...do you guys go from 45(or so) then to 100 and just use 60-100, or do you go WOT at 60 and measure from 60-100?

    I got a 4.86 sec 60 - 100 from a 58 mph start.... once. 5.2 sec after that.
