Thread: invalid cable ID huh?

    new warning message

    i was vary excited when the UPS driver dropped off HPT for me i loaded the cd asked for the aplication key and i entered the one i was givinen i then go out to the car to see if every thing works and it just gives me invalid cable ID error.



    any idea what i did wrong?

    now it says the interface can not be found even though it's pluged in and the green light is on

    Invalid ID or not found...

    I had the same problem and the only thing different with the HP interface was the USB cable I was using. I thought It was something to do with Windoze 7 cause this is the first Logging session I've done with 7, but NOT..

    I changed back to the Original USB cable = BINGO, it works fine....

    Double check your cables ...

    will do also found out i forgot to install the drivers though it was automatic oops lol

    i will see what happens tomarrow

    ok i was able to scan my van once just to see if every thing works then when i opend up the VCM editor this poped up and now it pops up when ever i try to do any thing and locks up
