Well, that depends on what your definition of "is" is... (I mean what your definition of "soon" is...) :P

EFI Live isn't going to be out with their LS2 product until Christmas at the earliest. I dunno how much of a threat LS2Edit is but that's all I can think of for real competition. :-/

A question...

IF I decide to upgrade to the USB interface, will my pigtail transfer directly over? I'd rather not rewire everything, but I think the USB box will be the way to go in the future. Thanks.

Personally, I can relate to "soon" being "soon" for months.
I'm still working on a "6-month" design job 18 months later.
Things just get bigger than you think, and I was "50% done"
for months on end (sometimes you have to work like a dog
just to go nowhere, instead of backwards).

Fortunately I only have 2 bosses and half a dozen customer
people to keep settled down, not a whole crowd. This kind
of griping is why I will never work in retail. Customers suck.
:P Too bad they're the only ones who give you money.

Yeah...I've had that happen a few times. I guess in hindsight I would have rather seen multiple updates than one big lumpsum 2.0. But then again 2.0 looks to be incredible.

Something definately happened, and it's not bad..

But in regards to 2.0 release date.. We have many people using it now. Our timeline is any day now.. We're just putting some finishing touches on it.

VCM Suite 2.0 is what will be released first. We will not be taking pre-orders on the USB hardware but will be producing more than enough to meet the demand.
